Have you ever experienced water leaking from your vagina after taking a bath?
We’ll explain the causes and treatments for this phenomenon, often referred to as Hot water leak (water leakage).
What is Hot water leak?
Many women have experienced a liquid coming out of their vagina after bathing or swimming.
It may surprise some to think it’s urine leakage, but it’s actually a phenomenon called Hot water leak (water leakage).
When you enter a bath or pool, water enters the vagina, and then over the next 20-30 minutes, it gradually comes out of the vagina.
Causes of Hot water leak
The causes of Hot water leak are believed to be vaginal relaxation and weakening of the pelvic floor muscles due to aging or childbirth.
This change in the body is not a disease.
For those who experience it after childbirth, it often gradually improves over several months, but some may find that a relaxed vagina due to multiple childbirths or age may not return to its previous state easily.
Preventing Hot water leak
It is important to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.
It is recommended to perform pelvic floor muscle exercises in daily life, although it is said to be challenging to train these inner muscles.
At our clinic, we introduce a treatment device called “Emsella” designed to strengthen the pelvic floor muscles.
This treatment device is said to be effective with a course of six sessions.
Results may vary among individuals, but many notice improvements after completing one treatment course.
You can perform pelvic floor muscle training using electromagnetic waves.
